Job Description
 
We have an immediate opening for a Sr Staff Accountant. Typical duties will include:
  • Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
  • Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and inter-company general ledger accounts
  • Performing financial compilations and consolidations for multi-company entities
  • Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals Assisting in the audit and management of bookkeeping workflow.

We prefer a minimum of 5 years prior experience in accounting or finance. A college degree in accounting is strongly preferred, however we will consider candidates with extensive experience in lieu of a degree.

Must be a self-motivated problem solver with the ability to perform and communicate effectively in a fastpaced, multi-client, deadline driven environment.

Strong attention to detail is necessary. Must be able to function independently as well as be a member of a team. Must be skilled in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
