As we look forward to the New Year and the enjoyment of New Year's Eve, in the back of your mind you know the end of the year means the beginning of tax season. The time for preparing your business and personal tax returns.

You may also have that feeling that you should have done more throughout the year to plan for your 2015 taxes. In most cases, it is not too late to begin the planning. According to an article on the Business News Daily website, you can still prepare for the season that lye ahead.

Much is to be said for automating your tax preparation. In most case, businesses have QuickBooks helping to keep track of expenses. That is good for reviewing what your business expenses are and making sure you have them categorized correctly. It is also important to know what tax law changes have effected you and your business.

As always, if this becomes overwhelming, you can consult an accounting firm (Hint, Hint) to help you with this. What you spend on expert advice, may be able to save you in the long run.

I think the greatest tax tip I can share is to not earn that much. That way you won't need to worry about filing. If you do, you just got to do it very discreetly. I am not openly suggesting you opt for something illegal but I just feel it's really crazy. Why do we have to always pay for taxes when we don't even enjoy a single thing from the local community. Everyone is on his own. If you are broke you go to hell alone. So why pay taxes and make corrupt politicians' wives fly more frequently to shopping destinations? I think we are the most unlucky bunch.

You can fly higher and achieve more with less effort if you know where to put your energy to get maximum ROI.
